National Cities Fund
National Cities Fund (NCF) is a national Community Development Entity (CDE) dedicated to creating quality, accessible jobs in underserved communities – both urban and rural – since it was established in 2002. Through innovative financing solutions, we invest in businesses and projects that drive economic growth in low-income communities across the country. We are a six-time federal NMTC allocatee, securing and deploying $208M of allocation. Additionally, we have been allocated $63M from state NMTC programs to foster job growth and economic opportunities in low-income communities. To date, our investments have created over 2,100 permanent jobs in the communities that need them most.
What We Do
NCF provides flexible, below-market debt and equity financing to businesses that need capital to grow and hire. We target industries proven to create strong employment opportunities. NCF’s currently focuses primarily on the manufacturing/industrial sector, that create stable, higher-wage jobs with long-term growth potential.
